Have you ever wondered how people so easily add those emotion icons to a message whilst you’re left wondering how they did it?? I was like that too until I discovered the Emoji keyboard feature on my iPhone.
The emoji keyboard on iOS enables a special set of images and emoticons you can use in messages , emails etc
iOS offers several hundred emoji that you can access using the emoji keyboard.
To enable emoji from the keyboard settings in iOS:
- Tap Settings > General > Keyboard.
- Tap Keyboards.
- Tap Add New Keyboard.
- Locate and tap Emoji.
Once enabled, you can access the emoji keyboard by tapping the globe icon to the left of the Space bar.

You can then swipe left or right to see all the icons and tap on the tabs to switch between themes. And using the clock icon means you can easily select a recent emotion you had used.
HOWEVER just bare in mind when sending emoji to non-iOS devices (other mobile phones, computers, or applications), the emoji may not appear as expected 🙁
