Coaching with AI ??? I was curious as I sat there looking at my to-do list, and a sense of overwhelm came over me. What would happen if I asked Chat GPT AI to coach me? So I jumped online to test out my curiosity. Here is an account of what happened with my coaching session with ai.
Coaching with AI: Overcome Procrastination
Jatinder: Do you know who Bob Proctor is?
Chat GPT: Yes, I do. Bob Proctor is a well-known motivational speaker, author, and consultant who has been teaching people about the power of the mind and the law of attraction for over 50 years. He is perhaps best known for his appearance in the popular self-help film and book, “The Secret,” which explores the idea that positive thinking and visualization can help people achieve their goals and dreams. Proctor has written several books on the subject of personal development, including “You Were Born Rich,” “The ABCs of Success,” and “It’s Not About the Money.”
Jatinder: Pretend you are Bob Proctor then coach me out of procrastination
Chat GPT:
Sure, I’d be happy to help you work through your procrastination as if I were Bob Proctor coaching you through it.
First, let’s identify the task that you have been procrastinating on. What is it that you need to do, but have been putting off?
Once you have identified the task, let’s explore the underlying reasons for your procrastination. What are the emotions that you are feeling when you think about this task? Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or uncertain? Are you lacking confidence in your ability to complete the task? Or is it simply that you’re finding it hard to motivate yourself to get started?
Let’s take a few moments to really explore these emotions and feelings. Once we have a clearer understanding of the underlying reasons for your procrastination, we can start to develop strategies for moving past it.
One strategy that can be helpful is to break the task down into smaller, more manageable steps. This can help to make the task seem less overwhelming, and can help to build momentum toward completing it. What are some of the smaller steps that you can take to move toward completing the task?
Another strategy that can be helpful is to develop a sense of urgency around the task. What is the deadline for completing the task? Can you set a deadline for yourself that is even sooner? By creating a sense of urgency, you can motivate yourself to take action and get started on the task.
Finally, it can be helpful to develop a positive mindset around the task. Instead of focusing on the challenges or difficulties, focus on the potential rewards and benefits of completing the task. What are the positive outcomes that you will achieve once you have completed the task? How will you feel once you have accomplished it?
By breaking the task down into smaller steps, creating a sense of urgency, and developing a positive mindset, you can start to move past your procrastination and take action toward your goals. Remember, taking consistent action is the key to achieving your goals, so start small and build momentum toward the larger goal. With persistence and dedication, you can overcome your procrastination and achieve your desired outcomes.
Jatinder: Are you able to pretend and coach me? You can ask me questions and I can answer them, and then you can coach me. You can respond back my answers so we can have a back-and-forth conversation like a guided coaching session to help me overcome procrastination.
Chat GPT: Yes, I’d be happy to guide you through a coaching session to help you overcome procrastination. Let’s begin by identifying the task that you have been procrastinating on. What is it that you need to do, but have been putting off?
Jatinder: my task list
Chat GPT: Great, let’s take a look at your task list. Can you tell me which tasks you have been procrastinating on? And what emotions do you feel when you think about those tasks?
Jatinder: My daily tasks, I feel overwhelmed
Chat GPT:
I see. Feeling overwhelmed is a common emotion that can lead to procrastination. It’s important to take steps to manage that feeling and break down your tasks into smaller, more manageable steps.
Let’s start by looking at your task list. Are there any tasks on your list that you can delegate or eliminate? Sometimes, we can become overwhelmed because we have too many tasks that are not essential or that can be done by someone else.
Next, let’s prioritize your tasks. Which tasks are the most important or urgent? It’s important to focus on those tasks first so that you can make progress and build momentum.
Now, let’s break down your tasks into smaller steps. Can you identify one of the tasks that you have been procrastinating on? What are the smaller steps that you can take to move forward on that task?
For example, if you need to write a report, the smaller steps could include researching, outlining, and drafting the report. By breaking the task down into smaller steps, you can make it more manageable and build momentum.
Finally, let’s create a sense of urgency around your tasks. What are the deadlines for your tasks? If there are no external deadlines, can you set internal deadlines for yourself? By creating a sense of urgency, you can motivate yourself to take action and make progress.
Remember, taking action is the key to overcoming procrastination. By breaking down your tasks into smaller steps, prioritizing your tasks, and creating a sense of urgency, you can start to make progress and build momentum.
Jatinder: Can you give me a summary list of these steps
Chat GPT:
Sure! Here is a summary list of the steps we discussed for overcoming procrastination:
- Identify the tasks that you have been procrastinating on
- Determine if any tasks can be delegated or eliminated.
- Prioritize your tasks based on importance and urgency.
- Break down your tasks into smaller, more manageable steps.
- Create a sense of urgency around your tasks by setting deadlines.
- Take action on your tasks, starting with the most important or urgent tasks.
- Celebrate your progress along the way to build momentum and motivation.
Remember, procrastination can be a challenging habit to break, but by taking consistent action and following these steps, you can overcome your procrastination and achieve your desired outcomes.
My Thoughts about Coaching with AI
Relationship coaching with AI?
A friend shared his insights about love and then asked me for my insights so I asked AI….
It’s an interesting one because I was talking to my brother about something similar the other day.
Taking on the conversation around this AI stuff, everything AI is doing is from a data set Generative AI (Generative AI refers to a type of artificial intelligence (AI) that is able to generate new, original content based on a set of input parameters. ). It’s only and all logic.
So when you ask it to share something emotional, it’s using complex logic to invoke or create what it thinks emotion may be based on data sets.
Even in the creation of ART it’s using data sets to create a form of randomness, but it’s all from calculated data sets.
If AI can make ART and it’s really good, it could raise the question about how humans actually come up with ART, are we just using complex logic to create irrationality?
And if that’s the case then emotion is not a real thing but just made up of complex logic.
The neck-top computer is calculating this and then we try to define our actions with logic lol
Hence programming the brain or bio-computer lol
So in that context what is love?
Here if we look at both sides of what we know about logic and reason, then the opposite which is emotion and art and then the 3rd which is spirituality for the unknown element. In spirituality, they say it’s all spiritual and that everything is love.
So what are we defining as love? What is love?
So I asked AI and this is what it said:
The concept of love is a complex and multi-faceted one, and there are many different ways that people have tried to define it throughout history. At its most basic level, love is often thought of as an emotional attachment or bond between two people, characterized by feelings of warmth, affection, and a desire for closeness and intimacy.
However, love can take many different forms, and can manifest in a wide variety of ways. Some people experience love as a deep sense of connection and unity with all things, while others experience it as a powerful force that drives them to care for and nurture others.
In terms of your question about whether love is real or just a product of complex logic, it’s worth noting that emotions like love are often thought of as arising from a combination of both biological and psychological factors. While there may be a certain amount of logic involved in the way that we experience emotions, it’s also clear that there is an important subjective and experiential aspect to these feelings that can’t be fully explained by logic alone.
Ultimately, the question of what love is and how it works is one that remains open to interpretation and debate. While science and reason may offer some insights into the nature of love, there will always be an element of mystery and complexity to this most fundamental of human experiences.
LOL
Whats your thoughts on that ??
“combination of both biological and psychological factors” wt lol thats next level, right BUT its still getting all this from data sets .. makes you think…right?
Conclusion
WOW. I was kind of hoping that the AI would have asked me the questions, waited for me to answer and go back and forth. But it didn’t and just gave me the points. But you see where this is going. Coaching app applications that over time will create large data sets around you, your habits etc with a large enough data set AI can be used to help and guide you in many areas of life.
Does this mean coaching or other marketing jobs are dead? No because the dynamic that is created in a real one-to-one situation means a good coach or mentor can adapt to you (Using Artificial Intelligence to Enhance Coaching).
Will we see more ai coaching platform like DigitalRapport.ai emerging soon?
What about ai coaching app or your very own ai business coach?
Coaching with AI is not there yet with the emotional side of things as you can see from my thoughts. But the application of AI is here so its best to embrace it and start to utilise it to enhance your life and business.
